An AI Message is a message response generated by HelperHat's AI-powered customer support system for your customers. AI Messages are only counted when the AI system sends a reply to a customer's inquiry. HelperHat is an AI-first live chat support software that responds to your website visitors or customers only when they are new customers seeking assistance or when a team member has marked their conversation as "done".

You can monitor your AI message count in real-time from your Account Page. Your Total AI Messages used during the current billing period is displayed transparently, so you can easily see how close you are to the 1,000 included messages each month. If you exceed this limit, additional messages will be charged at $5 for every 100 extra AI messages.

Unused AI messages do not roll over to the next billing period. Your Total AI Messages count is reset at the start of each billing cycle. You can monitor your current usage anytime by visiting your Account Page, where the Total AI Messages for the current billing period are always displayed transparently.

When you exceed your 1,000 AI messages, we automatically add a charge of $5 per 100 additional messages, billed on your next cycle.

Please note that additional messages are always rounded up to the nearest 100.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:
  • Billing Portal: Navigate to your Account Page, select Manage Subscription and proceed to cancel manually within the Billing Portal (Powered by Stripe).
  • Deleting Business Account: On your Account Page, choose Delete Business Account. This action will remove all your business data—including customers, chats, and all other business details as well as cancel your subscription automatically.
Please note that deleting your business account is irreversible and will result in the loss of all associated data.
