Answer
Open the Contacts Page and choose a contact's More menu. Any team member can choose Edit Contact to change the contact's name, email address or phone number, then choose Save. On a phone it opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen, and on larger screens as a popup. A contact needs a name and at least an email address or phone number, and HelperHat shows a note under any field that needs fixing. If the change can't be saved, a message tells you and your changes stay in the form so you can try again.
Choose Delete Contact to remove someone from Contacts. HelperHat asks you to confirm first and lists what happens: the contact's saved name, email address and phone number are deleted and they leave Contacts, but the conversation and its messages stay in your conversation list. If the customer shares their details again, they reappear in Contacts. You can choose Cancel or the close button to keep the contact.
Edits and deletions show on the Contacts Page right away for everyone on your team. With a screen reader, these actions are also available from the contact row's actions, and you hear Contact saved or Contact deleted once the change is done.
