How do fullscreen video controls work?

Updated Customer Chat Experience

Answer

Open a video attachment to use the same playback controls on iOS, Android, and web. Tap or click the video or its black margins to pause or resume.

  • The bottom row has Play/Pause, Mute/Unmute, elapsed and total time, and Exit fullscreen.
  • Drag the purple seek bar to choose a position. A paused video stays paused after seeking.
  • Mute affects only the current player and restores its previous volume when unmuted.
  • Controls hide shortly after playback resumes. They stay visible while paused, seeking, or using keyboard or accessibility navigation.

Exit fullscreen closes the viewer just like Close. Existing sharing, download, zoom, swipe, and gallery navigation actions remain available where supported.
