Why does HelperHat ask for microphone permission?

Updated Customer Chat Experience

Answer

HelperHat asks for microphone permission when someone uses voice input in the message composer or holds the camera shutter to record a video with sound. Opening the camera or taking a photo does not request microphone access. Voice input records speech, transcribes it into text, and places the transcript into the draft message before sending.
